For those who remember -- I ran into a tire retread on the way back from Z nationals in March 07
Bought another OEM hood and sent it off to Cali to Williams Auto Body to get the "Speedy ZX mod" .. Thanks Speedy and Scott Smith and ofcourse William !!!
Decided to do a full re-paint for the Z for a little less than $5000 .. door jams

de dent ( spent about $1200 here )
plus insurance work that had to be done .. ( oem fascia, under duct work, etc ) ~ $1300 check !!!! what's new ? installed + painted
New OEM speedy zx hood ( put your hand over the vent and you can feel the hot air "escaping" --functionally and looks nice )

After driving the Z the past two days and working out some bugs from running over the tire retread .. 1 ) had to troubleshoot why my wideband was reading a signal ( wiring harness was torn )
2 ) fixed my water injection line that was ripped ( by the way, the surflo pumps are one way directional .. don't ask me how I find out :) SHe hasn't been "run" since March .. and after burning a full tank of gas he this weekend .. it feels good to be boosting Anyways ..good to be back in the Z ..
